Westfield News: Westfield participates in the PAFP
Last March 1 - 3, 2007, the Philippine Academy of Family Physician (PAFP) had successfully concluded its Annual Convention held in the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC). Innogen, together with Westfield, participated in the booth exhibits. In order to add spice to the exhibits, Westfield put up a game program patterned from a popular T.V. show. DIUZIDE or RAMIPRO game was a click to the hundreds of General Practitioners and Family Physicians who went in line just to play.
Westfield recently held its 2007 Marketing Conference at the Development Academy of the Philippines in Tagaytay City. The theme of the event is "Conquering New Heights and New Horizons".
Field force employees have actively participated in all sessions, especially on the last day where Westfield held its team building. The organizers made the activity enjoyable and challenging by adapting the mechanics of the Amazing Race.

On the recently concluded Joint Annual Convention of the Philippine Society of Hypertension and the Philippine Lipid and Atherosclerosis Society last January 29 -February 2, 2007, Westfield, had officially launched DIUZIDE through a luncheon symposium entitled "Completing the Circle of Hypertension Management". The guest speaker is no other than the president of the PSH himself, Nelson Abelardo, M.D. He reiterated that thiazide diuretics, such as DIUZIDE, would be of great benefit to hypertensive patients and should be given as first-line to patients with stage 1 hypertension.
